Today, I want to share with you a powerful story that recently came to my attention. It’s the account of a 38-year-old woman who finds herself in a devastating situation and urgently needs advice. I’ll narrate her story in the first person so you can feel the weight of her words and the complexity of her situation.

“I’ve been married for 17 years to a 43-year-old man. We have three children together, aged 16, 13, and 12. Our relationship started unusually: we were friends with benefits in 2007 when I unexpectedly got pregnant. Everything happened so fast — the pregnancy, the forced marriage, all in the same year.

It was an enormous challenge. We had to get to know each other while already adapting to married life and preparing to be parents. But we managed to overcome it. Our families and friends were very supportive. My husband was excellent until this infidelity issue arose. He’s still a great father.
