You Can’t Say You Weren’t Warned

Russia has always played chess while the US played checkers. I wake up every morning and see the same news, the same vicious cycle of Western promises and the same naivety of a president who doesn’t seem to understand that he’s being used as a pawn in a much bigger game.

Putin waits patiently while Zelensky continues to believe that the West will come to his rescue like in fairy tales. But real life doesn’t work that way, and this war has exposed American and European hypocrisies in a way we can no longer ignore. Military and financial aid always comes with a price, and that price is rarely revealed in press conferences or presidential visits full of smiles and handshakes.

Geopolitical interests always outweigh moral values when it comes to international politics. The same politicians who give standing ovations to Zelensky’s speeches in the American Congress are secretly negotiating deals with dictators when the cameras aren’t rolling.

Hypocrisy is so ingrained in the system that it no longer shocks us. The United States claims to defend freedom and democracy, but its track record of military interventions around the world speaks for itself.
