Your intelligence has been completely hijacked by hormones. It’s a silent hijacking, so subtle that you don’t even realize you’re a prisoner of your own chemical impulses. As Sadhguru explains, you’re like a child who forgot they were once free — when other people’s reproductive organs meant nothing to you.

Tomorrow I could give you a magical gift: every woman in the world chasing after you. And you know what would happen? You’d still be as unsatisfied as you are today. Because physical pleasure is limited by nature. Trying to transform it into something unlimited is like trying to breathe underwater — you’ll end up suffocating.

Your body only knows survival and procreation. It knows nothing of dreams, ambitions, or personal fulfillment. You might think you’re climbing mountains and conquering the world, but biologically each step is just one more toward the grave.

Is it cruel? Yes.

Is it true? Absolutely.

Sexual compulsion is a modern form of slavery. There’s nothing wrong with hormones themselves — they’re perfect for the limited role they should play. The problem is when we let them dominate our entire existence. As Sadhguru says, it’s trying to turn something small into everything.
