How Long Will You Let Prejudice Destroy Your Life?
The Silent Hypocrisy That’s Killing Us All Inside
Fuck, I’m sick of it. Sick of smiling and pretending everything’s okay when it’s not. Sick of swallowing hard every time someone makes a prejudiced comment “without meaning to.” Sick of feeling like a second-class citizen in my own country.
And you? Have you ever stopped to think about how much prejudice is fucking up your life?
It’s not just about not being able to be who you are without judgment.
It’s much deeper and more insidious than that.
It’s about that promotion you didn’t get because your boss thinks “people like you” don’t have the “emotional stability” for leadership positions.
Whether it’s because you’re gay, black, fat, or simply don’t fit into the mold that society decided is “acceptable.”
It’s about your own family treating you like you have a contagious disease because you don’t meet their expectations.
It’s about being afraid to go to the doctor because you don’t know if you’ll be treated with dignity or if you’ll get a lecture about your “lifestyle” or your body.
Damn, it’s about living in constant fear. Fear of being attacked…
