The numbers are crystal clear: foot fetishism ranks as the most common fetish for non-genital body parts.

This statistic shouldn’t raise eyebrows — just look at our cultural landscape. From fine art to cinema, feet have always commanded the spotlight, even if not always openly acknowledged.

Tarantino’s films are the perfect example.

Those lingering shots of female feet that everyone recognizes.

The director denies having a fetish, calling it “visual aesthetics,” but he’s undeniably opened doors for more open discussions about the topic.

Recent studies published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine reveal that between 10% and 15% of the population admits to having some form of sexual interest in feet.

Looking at Pornhub’s 2023 statistics, we see a 22% spike in foot-related searches. These striking numbers make us wonder: why do we still treat this as taboo?
