Ah, Trump’s wonderful idea of “cleaning up” America by deporting 11 million people! Brilliant plan — if the goal is to transform the world’s largest economy into complete chaos. But hey, at least we’ll be “protected” from those dangerous families who clean our houses and harvest our food, right?

The truth is that this proposal completely ignores economic reality: in agriculture alone, 73% of the workforce consists of undocumented immigrants. In construction, they represent 47% of workers in states like Texas and California.

And you know what’s best?

Studies show that even during periods of high unemployment, Americans don’t apply for these jobs.

Why don’t we start with Trump’s hotels? It would be hilarious to see the former president explain how he’ll keep his businesses running without the same illegal immigrants his companies have been hiring for years. But no, that would be asking too much of his consistency.

In 2019, an investigation revealed that his properties had been employing dozens of undocumented workers for decades. Some even received letters of recommendation from the Trump Organization.
