They say we are what we eat, but I say we are when we choose to love. The hour we choose for sex is a mirror of our soul, a reflection of our deepest desires, our insecurities, and our courage to be truly who we are.

It was on a scorching Friday in August when this truth hit me. The day’s heat still reverberated through the apartment walls, creating a dense and sensual atmosphere. The clock showed 23:47, and there, between the third and fourth glass of red wine — a full-bodied Douro that left a trail of warmth in the throat — a heated political discussion transformed into a game of seduction.

I watched him as he passionately gesticulated about human rights, his jaw tense, neck muscles contracted with the intensity of the debate. Sweat formed small droplets on his forehead, and each movement released the woody aroma of his perfume mixed with his skin’s natural scent.

The discussion was merely a pretext for something deeper growing between us.

The white silk blouse clung to my damp skin as I leaned over the table to refute one of his arguments. The wine had left my lips more sensitive, and each word felt like a caress. His pupils dilated when he noticed my deliberate approach — the political debate now…
