2024 revealed itself as the year Hollywood finally decided to drop its pants and show what it had been hiding. I observe, fascinated, this radical change in mainstream entertainment — it’s not just about showing skin or moaning in front of cameras.

It’s much deeper and more perverse than that. It’s about how power excites us, corrupts us, and transforms us into rawer versions of ourselves.

Laugh with me…

Generation Z, supposedly running from sex like the devil from the cross, preferring endless TikTok scrolling to real encounters, eagerly devours series like “Industry.” I watch, intrigued, as these “puriteens” delight in scenes of banking executives turning corporate bathrooms into stages of sexual domination.

Is forbidden pleasure tastier when served with a dash of corporate power?

Among tennis balls and sweaty bodies, “Challengers” elevates the game of seduction to a perverse art. Zendaya manipulates two men in a vicious circle of desire and competition. One plays for show, the other for safety — but both play for her.

Tennis becomes an erotic dance where true pleasure lies in anticipation, in the tension between bodies that desire but cannot touch.
