I must admit there’s something deeply fascinating about older men. It’s not just a physical thing — although that counts too — but there’s an entire aura of life experience, of accumulated wisdom, that makes them truly attractive.
However, as with everything in life, there’s always a “but.” Not all of them fit this profile. Some, despite their age, seem like eternal teenagers trapped in a fifty-year-old body. It’s a curious contrast and, at times, even disconcerting to observe.
It was a few years ago when I met him — a casual encounter that would end up changing my perspective on life in ways I could never have imagined. He was 54, married, and… my God, what a man!
He had that kind of mature beauty that catches your eye: graying hair and beard that gave him a distinguished look, well-maintained black skin, and a casual yet elegant style that seemed so natural on him.
What captivated me most was his smile — that impeccably white Colgate smile that lit up the whole block when he passed by.
At the time, I was in a different phase of my life. Single, no commitments, living that typical freedom of someone who satisfies their desires without much worry about tomorrow. I had my occasional flings, sure, but nothing that would keep me up at night.
